CULive is a creator monetization platform designed to help artists, coaches, musicians, and independent professionals build meaningful relationships with their audiences while generating sustainable income. The platform enables one-on-one sessions, exclusive content, community building, tipping, and subscriptions, empowering creators to monetize their work from the early stages of their journey.
My Contribution
As a UI/UX Design Intern at RMgX Technologies, I contributed to CULive through the entire design journey from ideation to final high-fidelity designs. In a fast paced, 1.5 month product cycle that culminated in deployment, I conducted user research and competitive analysis, mapped user flows, created wireframes, designed the visual identity, iconography, and delivered high-fidelity interfaces and interactive prototypes. Working closely with the product and engineering teams, I helped shape a cohesive, launch ready user experience.
Challenges
Creator monetization in 2022 was dominated by platforms that quietly favored the already famous. The top 1% captured most of the revenue, everyone else waited for a discovery that rarely came. CULive's bet was that the real problem was engagement, not monetization. Building a genuine creator fan relationships from the start, and create a sustainable income was the real brief we catered.
The solution centered on a creator-first experience that balanced discovery with engagement. Through a cohesive visual identity, streamlined user journeys, and community driven interactions, the platform helped emerging creators grow their audience and foster meaningful connections.
Features
Session Management
Creators needed a faster way to manage paid session requests without jumping between multiple screens. A calendar-first experience with color-coded statuses, contextual fan details, and inline approval actions enabled quick decision-making, reducing friction and improving session approval time by 40%.

Creator Wallet
The wallet supported payments, tips, donations, and withdrawals, making trust the primary design objective. Clear balance separation, transparent transaction states, and streamlined withdrawal and tipping flows reduced uncertainty while enabling users to complete financial actions quickly and with confidence.
Content Management
Instead of relying solely on algorithms, the media feed empowered creators to shape their audience's experience. Content filters, engagement insights, and curation tools gave creators greater visibility into content performance, helping them make informed decisions and build stronger audience engagement.

Chat & Tipping
Inline tipping was integrated directly into conversations, allowing fans to support creators without leaving the chat. By eliminating redirects and reducing payment friction, the experience felt like a natural extension of the conversation, encouraging spontaneous interactions and strengthening creator–fan relationships.
